COP 29
At the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UN Fundamental Convention on Climate Change (COP 29), “Kor-Taj” Ltd. and Chinese foreign energy investment signed an agreement on the development of 800MW electric power project.
Within the project, it is planned to build a 500 MW wind power plant in Karaganda region and a 300 MW solar power plant in Mangystau region. The document confirmed the parties’ intentions to develop sustainable energy in Kazakhstan. the launch of the facilities is planned for 2028
