Upstream
Marjory invested in oil and gas exploration and production. The Company is involved in the exploration, production and development of the oil field North-Western Zhetybai in Mangistau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Downstream
Our refineries are integrated with our midstream assets to maximize operating efficiency. The transportation links that connect our refineries allow the movement of intermediate products between refineries to optimize operations, produce higher margin products and efficiently utilize our processing capacity.
Midstream
Our Midstream operations primarily includes the operations which transport, store and distribute crude oil, refined products, including renewable diesel, and other hydrocarbon-based products via pipelines, terminals, towboats and barges; gather, process and transport natural gas; and transport, fractionate, store and market natural gas liquids.

Kor-Tazh LLP is the flagship of the region’s oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan that offers a great deal of potential operations for both onshore and offshore exploration. The company is now conducting offshore exploration in the oil field North-Western Zhetybai in Mangistau Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in close proximity to the Tengiz oil fields. Net -Zero carbon
We are committed to embracing new technologies to convert our CO2 into useful products and chemicals. We have already made substantial progress on photosynthetic biological pathways to convert our CO2 emissions into high-value proteins, nutraceuticals, advanced materials and fuels. We will develop next-gen carbon capture and storage technologies.
Energy efficiency program
In 2020, Kor-Tazh conducted an energy audit by specialists from Energy Partner LLP, based on the results of which an Action Plan for Energy Saving and Improving Energy Efficiency for 2021-2025 was developed.
The costs for the implementation of these measures are provided for in the budget for 2021-2025 and 100% implementation is expected.
The action plan for energy saving and improving energy efficiency for 2021-2025 provides for the following main activities:
- Replacement of lamps and lights with LED ones;
- Implementation of a control station with frequency converters;
- Modernization of pumping equipment of high-flow group installations by replacing NB-125 pumps with modern energy-efficient multiphase ones;
- Replacement of unloaded pumps of the CNS-180 type with STDM-1250 kW electric motors with similar CNS-60-1422 pumps with 630 kW electric motors at the Zhetybay fields .
- Reconstruction of boiler plants with conversion from diesel fuel to gas fuel.
- Installation of block-modular boiler houses to replace the existing PT-16-150 heating furnaces operating in the summer to prepare hot water supply onsite
